We held our first fun day of the season at Rosedale on Sunday 5th June with a jubilee theme.
The weather wasn't great, but everyone had a great time, despite the damp and cool conditions. We started by raising a toast to Her Majesty, to celebrate her Platinum Jubilee.
We had 32 attend, plus several friends and family members. After payment of prizes, we raised a good sum for our Centenary Fund.
The tradition of raising money for charity continued and fines and other donations also raised a good sum for a charity to be nominated by our top shot of the day. Bowlers enjoyed some lovely cakes during the breaks between games made by several of our members and refreshments from our bar and kitchen were in full flow.
