Having achieved promotion last season we knew that the games this year would be tougher.
Round 1 saw us take on the Shire Park at home.
We started off o.k. and after 9 ends were only 3 shots behind. However in the second half we fell away and eventually lost on both rinks by an overall difference of 11 shots.
So no points this time.
