By popular request we held another sheep racing night in the main clubhouse on 24th March.
Once again it was a very successful evening and over 60 members and their guests enjoyed a real fun event. The sheep were again provided in excellent racing condition by Alison and Brian Rapley and there was some really competitive action from the jockeys. Carol and Dave Earl provided a tasty ploughman's supper during the half time break. The night terminated with a auction for the sheep in the final race. The bidding was fierce and the winning owner's prize was taken by Fred Cable.
As well as providing a entertaining night out, the event was also able to raise additional funds for our centenary chest. This event is very likely to be held again in the future.
